Gynecological health is fundamental to your overall well-being, yet issues like irregular periods, pelvic pain, and abnormal pap smears can greatly affect your quality of life. Don’t let these concerns go unnoticed.
Myomas, also known as uterine fibroids, are noncancerous growths that originate in the muscular wall of the uterus. They range in size from small, seed-like nodules to larger masses that can distort the shape and size of the uterus. These growths can cause symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and pressure on the bladder or bowel.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form within or on the surface of the ovaries. These cysts can range in size – from small to large and develop during a woman’s menstrual cycle. While most ovarian cysts are harmless and may resolve on their own, some can cause symptoms like pain, bloating, and changes in menstrual cycles.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus. This tissue behaves like the lining inside the uterus, thickening, breaking down, and bleeding with each menstrual cycle. The misplaced tissue can cause pain, especially during periods, and may lead to fertility problems.
Pelvic floor and bladder conditions such as overactive bladder and urinary incontinence can disrupt your daily activities and may cause you to feel discomfort at the most inopportune time. Treat your problems as early as today.
Overactive bladder (OAB) is a urinary condition characterized by a sudden, involuntary contraction of the bladder muscles, leading to a frequent and urgent need to urinate. It can significantly impact a person’s quality of life and daily activities.
Urge urinary incontinence (UUI) is a form of urinary incontinence characterized by a sudden, strong urge to urinate, often followed by an involuntary loss of urine. It can significantly impact a person’s daily activities and quality of life.
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common form of urinary incontinence characterized by the involuntary leakage of urine during activities that exert pressure on the bladder, such as coughing, sneezing, laughing, or lifting heavy objects. It occurs due to weakened pelvic floor muscles or a weakened sphincter.
Multiple factors such as aging, childbirth, or genetics can cause changes to the female vulvovaginal anatomy that may cause discomfort, pain, and even lower your self-confidence. We can help you improve your condition with our advanced technologies.
Vaginal laxity refers to the loosening or relaxation of the vaginal walls, often causing a decrease in tightness or tone of the vaginal tissues. It can result from various factors, including childbirth, hormonal changes, aging, or certain medical conditions.
Vaginal constriction refers to a condition where the vaginal opening or canal becomes narrower or tighter than usual. It can result in discomfort, pain, or difficulty with sexual intercourse and other activities involving the vagina.
Redundant labia, also known as hypertrophic labia or enlarged labia minora, refers to an enlargement or elongation of the labia minora (inner vaginal lips) beyond what is considered typical. It can lead to discomfort, self-consciousness, and challenges with hygiene or certain activities.
Dr. Jennifer Marie B. José is one of the country’s pioneer gynecologic robotic surgeons. She specializes in operating on various simple and complex gynecological conditions in a minimally/non-invasive manner. This allows her patients to recover from the procedure faster.
A robotics-assisted hysterectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the uterus with precision and control. This advanced technique offers reduced pain, minimal scarring, and a quicker recovery compared to traditional surgery. Ideal for treating conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, and uterine cancer, robotics-assisted hysterectomy enhances the surgical experience and outcomes for women.
Robotics-assisted myomectomy is a state-of-the-art procedure designed to remove uterine fibroids (myomas) while preserving the uterus. Utilizing robotic technology, this method provides exceptional accuracy, reducing the risk of complications and ensuring a faster recovery. Women can benefit from less postoperative pain, minimal scarring, and a shorter hospital stay, making it a preferred option for those seeking to maintain fertility.
Robotics-assisted sacrocolpopexy is a specialized surgical procedure aimed at correcting pelvic organ prolapse. By using robotic technology, this technique offers superior precision in attaching the prolapsed organs back to their normal position. Patients experience reduced pain, less blood loss, and quicker recovery times. This procedure is particularly effective in restoring pelvic function and improving quality of life for women suffering from prolapse.
